Who are you?

As a key, senior member of the design team, you will deliver solid creative skills and design support, getting hands-on with projects across the board - from scamping, to social, to helping with large-scale web design projects. You will have a strong understanding of design principles, a natural flair for the industry and an eagerness to listen, grow and learn at a fast pace.

You will be working with, and reporting to our Design Manager, who is largely responsible for through-the-line delivery of all design projects, internal processes and inter-departmental communication and cohesion. You will be working to embed yourself as an integral part of the Storm design team, with the potential for career development along the way.

What do you need?

• At least 5 years+ of design experience

• A sound knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite - mainly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign

• Experience of Sketch or Adobe XD as well as an understanding of web prototyping tools, such as UXPin or Invision

• Experience with owning multiple projects; with the ability to deliver anything from website layouts and storyboarding through to infographics and branding, working across departments to ensure the creative strategy is executed correctly

• A solid understanding of meeting client objectives and managing expectations, working to budgets and tight deadlines

• A willingness to take on new challenges to further develop your skill set, whilst responding positively to feedback and critique

• An ability to interpret and discuss briefs and communicate effectively with the wider team and key stakeholders

• A versatile nature with the ability to work fast with agility whilst not compromising accuracy; attention to detail and taking pride in your work is an absolute must

• To stay up to date with the latest design trends, tech and software

• To be confident, committed and willing in nature; someone who sees the role as more than just a job but a passion
