Salary: Up to £27k DOE

Location: Leigh-on-sea, Essex

Who are you?

We’re looking for a Junior Account/Project Executive who will learn to play an important part in supporting our long-standing client relationships through the successful and smooth delivery of our projects.

We’ll teach you to become commercially-minded, organised, analytical and methodical to be a part of the client services and agency operations team here at Storm. Confidence and communication is key and you’ll need to be comfortable working with both clients and members of the team, in this role.

Over time you’ll develop skills which will give you the ability to plan projects into the studio, from taking a brief and tracking the project, through to delivery.

Requirements

Day-to-day, you will:


  • Work directly alongside our Account/Project Manager, shadowing everything that they do - from attending planning meetings to sitting on client briefing calls

  • Start to communicate with clients to ensure feedback and sign-off stages are properly managed

  • Help to prepare clear briefs and share these with the relevant departments to push projects through the studio

  • Attend and learn how to manage daily, weekly and monthly pipeline and resource planning, ensuring projects are booked into the studio in a timely manner

  • Maintain awareness of status, resource capacity and challenges of projects at all times

  • Regularly attend meetings with the Heads of Departments to ensure tasks are completed, output is of a high quality and projects remain on track

  • Collaborate with all team members to develop close working relationships with every department

  • Learn how to be reactive and forward plan, adapting to any necessary changes along the way

  • Support the Account/Project Manager to pick up any adhoc stakeholder or client requests and book them in with the relevant departments, or action them yourself where possible

  • Manage project plans and timelines where appropriate

  • Resolve challenging project issues with a collaborative solutions-focused approach, whilst maintaining a positive outlook, attitude and work ethic


About you:

  • You’ll have a love of management, meticulous organisation, learning about business functions, a keen interest in marketing and the ability to bring all of this together
  • You ‘want’ to understand the client and the project, ultimately driving multiple projects through the agency
  • You’ll learn to interpret specifications and briefs from clients and effectively convey these to the relevant departments
  • You have the confidence to provide and communicate task and status updates to the wider team, and our clients, on a regular basis
  • You’re able to promptly learn how to use new programmes and tools, and are willing to take on new challenges
  • You can demonstrate exceptional time management and organisation in a fast-paced, agile environment, with various stakeholders involved
  • You can naturally build client relationships and provide effective service delivery
  • You’ll learn how to identify improvements in processes and procedures
  • You’ll show commitment and pride in everything that you do


Bonus points if you also have…

  • A degree or qualification in Project Management, Business, Marketing or another related area
  • Experience in resource/project management tools, Google Docs, Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Office
