Paid Media Manager

Location: Leigh-on-Sea, Essex

We are looking for a Paid Media Manager to join our agency, with a view to providing strategic direction to our Paid Media team. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, strategy and general ongoing management of paid campaigns (across multiple platforms) to deliver meaningful results for our clients. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to maximise on ROI, ROAS and other valuable key metrics, working on a number of verticals with a varied client base.

This role is well-suited for not only experienced Paid Media experts but also individuals who have spent years working with these tools and are now eager to transition into a more strategic 'ideas' role. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise and direction in paid advertising strategies, taking a commercially-minded approach 
  • Proactively plan and monitor paid media activity informing and guiding our paid media specialists 
  • Advise on asset and content creation relevant to each paid platform 
  • Create campaign roadmaps for clients in line with objectives and goals
  • Look at and recommend keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, bid strategies, A/B testing, audience targeting, display networks, optimisation scores and all other facets of paid advertising 
  • Provide analysis and recommendations of current campaigns to the wider team on performance as well as recommendations for improvement
  • Assist our Paid Media team in researching opportunities for new clients, running audits and providing data for proposals
  • Track and report back on campaign performance, supporting the teams with client reports 
  • Devise short and long-term paid strategies which encourage growth 
  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies and roadmaps that align with our clients' business objectives and KPIs, ensuring seamless integration across all digital channels
  • Assist in client meetings and support with proposals, showcasing our agency's expertise and value proposition
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure there is always data-driven decision making
  • Stay current and up-to-date with the latest and relevant digital marketing trends, paid algorithms, analytics tools, and industry best practices

Requirements

What do you need?

  • Proven experience as a Paid Media Manager (or similar role)

  • Proficiency in Google Ads, Bing, Meta, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, TikTok and more (any certifications are a plus) 

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making; forming strategies for campaigns 

  • Excellent understanding of keyword research, audience targeting, bid strategies, optimisation techniques 

  • Experience with managing and monitoring multiple projects; with the ability to deliver strong strategic evidence and insights 

  • A solid understanding of meeting our clients' objectives and managing expectations, working to budgets and tight deadlines

  • An ability to interpret and discuss paid media briefs, with a clear understanding of objectives, goals and KPIs

  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to effectively communicate with the wider team and clients 

  • A versatile nature with the ability to work fast with agility whilst not compromising accuracy; attention to detail and taking pride in your work is an absolute must

  • To stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends, tech and software

  • To be confident, committed and willing in nature; someone who sees the role as more than just a job

Please note: We do offer flexible working hours but this is a full-time, in office position.
